12 tea bags (can be black tea for example)
4 cups of boiling water
1 cup of mint-infused syrup (ingredients to make it below)
1 lemon
soda (carbonated beverage)
ice
mint and lemon slices to decorate
Mint infusion: 1 cup of boiling water, 2/3 cup of sugar and 12 mint leaves with stems included.
Place all tea bags at the bottom of a pitcher and pour the 4 cups of boiling water into the same pitcher. Let steep for 30 minutes.
To make the mint infusion, place the cup of boiling water, sugar and mint in a deep bowl. Stir well using a fork, dissolve the sugar well and press the mint leaves to release the flavor. Let cool for 15 minutes.
Remove the tea bags from the pitcher and add 2 cups of cold water. Remove the mint leaves from the syrup and then add it to the pitcher with tea.
Add the juice of one lemon to the tea and stir well.
To serve: pour into a glass with ice and fill it with tea up to the middle, then add soda until the glass is full. Stir.
Enjoy!
