Chocolate and Coconut Energy Balls

These energy balls can be very useful as a snack, pre or post-workout. Super simple to make and with a fairly balanced macro content.

Nutritional Content per Two Balls:

Carbohydrates 19 gr. equals 1 serving
Protein 5 gr. equals 1 serving
Fat 10 gr. equals 1 serving

Ingredients (makes 20 balls):

  • 1 cup oats
  • 6 tablespoons almond butter (96 gr)
  • 1/4 cup flax seeds (4 tablespoons or 24 gr)
  • 6 tablespoons shredded coconut (30 gr)
  • 14 gr cacao nibs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (preferably sugar-free)

Preparation:

  • Place all ingredients in a deep bowl
  • Mix uniformly
  • Form the balls (approximately one tablespoon each)
