1/2 cup of Splenda
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of basil leaves
1 tablespoon of lemon zest, grated
4 cups of diced pineapple
3 cups of strawberries cut into quarters
1/2 cup of grapes cut in half
In a small pot, combine the water with Splenda, bring to a boil and cook for one minute or until the Splenda dissolves.
Remove from heat and add the basil and lemon zest.
Let cool to room temperature, then strain the water leaving the solids aside.
In a large deep bowl, combine the pineapple, strawberries and grapes. Pour the Splenda mixture over the fruit and stir to coat well. Refrigerate until serving.
