These cookies made with whole wheat flour are a bit healthier, easier on digestion, and maintain a delicious flavor. You can enjoy them as a dessert or as part of a snack.

Fats: 7 gr equals 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 2 bars of unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 142 gr of white sugar
  • 142 gr of brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 300 gr of whole wheat flour
  • 283 gr chocolate chips or cacao nibs

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Mix the butter and sugar until you achieve a creamy consistency (you can use a hand mixer or electric mixer)
  • Add the egg and vanilla to the mixture, stir until well incorporated
  • Slowly add the flour and beat on low speed until the dough forms
  • Add the chocolate chips by hand
  • Make dough balls of 30 gr each, place on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for 8 minutes
  • Once ready, let rest on the baking sheet for 2-3 minutes and then transfer to another plate until completely cool.
