The easiest way to transform this delicious dessert into a guilt-free dish is by eliminating the crust and filling it with flavor instead. This pie is simple to make and requires only a few ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons almond butter

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1/4 cup almonds and walnuts finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 large apple

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Prepare 4 dessert plates by placing 1 tablespoon of almond butter on each one.

  • In a deep bowl combine the oats, coconut, seeds, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and the honey.

  • Wash, remove the seeds and cut the apple into small cubes, in a bowl mix the apple with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, lemon juice, nutmeg, and cardamom.

  • Divide the apple equally among the 4 plates. Then cover equally with the oat mixture. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
