This delicious frozen dessert serves as a perfect dessert or snack and fits perfectly into any figure-conscious diet. Surprisingly, it’s quite simple to prepare.

6 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
Place the strawberries in a food processor and process until a puree forms.
In a small pot, add the water, lemon juice, vanilla, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Combine the strawberry puree with the syrup and transfer to a cake pan or ice cube tray. Freeze for approximately 6 hours.
Remove from the freezer and to achieve the sorbet texture, place in the food processor and process until it reaches a sorbet-like consistency.
