This delicious frozen dessert serves as a perfect dessert or snack and fits perfectly into any figure-conscious diet. Surprisingly, it’s quite simple to prepare.

  • Calories: 99 kcal.

  • Grams of fat: 0 gr.

  • Grams of protein: 1 gr.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups fresh or frozen strawberries

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • 1/2 cup sugar

Preparation:

  • Place the strawberries in a food processor and process until a puree forms.

  • In a small pot, add the water, lemon juice, vanilla, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

  • Combine the strawberry puree with the syrup and transfer to a cake pan or ice cube tray. Freeze for approximately 6 hours.

  • Remove from the freezer and to achieve the sorbet texture, place in the food processor and process until it reaches a sorbet-like consistency.
