This recipe pairs perfectly with grilled meat or chicken. It’s very simple to make and delicious. We can even enjoy them on their own.

  • Grams of fat: 6 gr. equals 1 fat serving.

  • Grams of protein: 3 gr. equals half a protein serving

  • Grams of carbohydrates: 6 gr. equals half a carbohydrate/vegetable serving.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tomatoes cut in half

  • 1/4 cup of fresh grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon of fresh oregano, finely chopped

  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

  • pepper to taste

  • 4 teaspoons of olive oil

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  • Place the tomatoes face up on a baking sheet.

  • Cover each half with Parmesan cheese, oregano, salt and pepper, they should all have the same amount of ingredients.

  • Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil, and put in the oven.

  • Bake until tender, approximately 15 minutes.
