Pear and cilantro dressing

I’m always looking for new options to dress salads and have alternatives to the typical vinegar, oil, or lemon. This one seemed delicious to me and pairs perfectly with lettuce, spinach, carrots, and tomatoes.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pear

  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro

  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  • Place all ingredients in the blender. If the blender is very large, add a little water to facilitate the blender’s function.

  • Blend until all ingredients are well combined.

  • Pour the dressing over your favorite salad.
