This dressing is delicious when added to your salads and has an Asian touch. It’s a different way to consume your daily vegetables.

Approximate Nutritional Content: 2 tablespoons

  • Calories: 83 kcal.

  • Grams of fat: 7 gr. equals 1 fat serving

  • Grams of protein: 0.4 gr.

  • Grams of carbohydrates: 5.6 gr.

Note: nutritional information varies according to the amount and type of ingredients used.

Ingredients: (3/4 cup total portion)

  • 1/4 cup shredded carrot

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 tablespoon shredded ginger

  • 1 small garlic clove

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery

  • 3 tablespoons sesame or peanut oil

  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  • Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until everything is incorporated and smooth.

  • Refrigerate for 1-2 hours so the flavors settle. It tastes better the longer it sits in the refrigerator.

  • Serve with your favorite salad.
