480 gr lean ground beef
2/3 cup ricotta cheese
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 beaten egg whites
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking oil spray. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine the meat with ricotta cheese, parmesan, egg whites, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Mix everything together.
Using an ice cream scoop, form the meatballs and place them lined up on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
Serve with your preferred side dish.
