4 ripe and firm bananas (large or medium)
8 wooden sticks
3 tablespoons of peanuts (salted or unsalted) finely chopped
180 gr. of dark or bitter chocolate.
Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Place a wooden stick in each banana. Place the bananas on a tray and cover with plastic wrap. Put in the freezer for approximately 3 hours.
Put the peanuts on a plate.
Bring a pot of water to a boil (fill the pot halfway with water or slightly less). Place a bowl or another pot on top of the pot with water (double boiler), making sure the top one does not touch the water. Put the chocolate in the pot on top, melt and stir constantly.
Pour the melted chocolate into a tall, thick glass. Dip each frozen banana in the chocolate and immediately roll in the peanuts.
Place the bananas on a tray lined with parchment paper. Can serve immediately or freeze again.
Enjoy!
