This sandwich is perfect for dinner or an afternoon snack. You can vary the jam flavor and the type of ham you use.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of whole wheat bread

  • 1 tablespoon of orange jam

  • 1 tablespoon of cream cheese with onion flavor

  • 60 gr. of ham (turkey, chicken, or pork)

  • 1/2 cup of spinach

Preparation:

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and spray with cooking oil.

  • Spread the jam on one slice of bread and the cream cheese on the other slice of bread.

  • Place the ham and spinach on one slice of bread and then place the other slice on top.

  • Put the sandwich in the skillet and press it with a spatula. Cook for 2 minutes or until the bread is golden, flip it, press again, and cover the skillet.

  • Cook for 2 more minutes and remove from heat. Cut in half and serve.
