This recipe perfectly combines carbohydrates with proteins, and won’t throw off your healthy diet. It’s very easy to prepare and doesn’t require much preparation time. Enjoy!

  • Calories: 266 kcal.

  • Grams of fat: 14 gr. equals 3 fat servings

  • Grams of protein: 14 gr. equals 2 protein servings

  • Grams of carbohydrates: 21 gr. equals 1.5 grain servings

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (shells or other short pasta)

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped sweet pepper

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

  • 1 tablespoon lime zest

  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise

  • salt to taste

  • 1 large can tuna in water, drained

Preparation:

  • In a deep bowl, combine the cooked pasta, celery, sweet pepper, onion, and lime zest, mix well.

  • Add the mayonnaise to the pasta mixture and stir well.

  • Add the tuna to the previously made mixture.

  • Stir all ingredients well until everything is well combined. Add salt to taste.

  • Refrigerate for one hour so the flavors settle.
