This salad combines different types of grains with flavors inspired by Asia. It’s a perfect side dish for meat and simple to prepare.

10 fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
1 compact tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 large can whole red beans, drained
1 large can chickpeas, drained
1 large can green beans, drained
Place all ingredients in a deep bowl except for the red beans, chickpeas and green beans. Stir to make the dressing.
Add the grains to the deep bowl and mix.
You can eat it immediately or let it rest so the flavors blend together.
