Mushrooms with Thyme and Lemon

This dish works perfectly as a side, very low in calories and simple to make. The only caveat is that it can be high in fat (olive oil, rich in unsaturated fat), so moderation is recommended. It's a different way to prepare mushrooms.

  • Calories: 115 kcal.

  • Fat grams: 10 gr. equals 2 fat servings

  • Carbohydrate grams: 5 gr.

  • Protein grams: 2 gr.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme

  • 2-4 tablespoons olive oil

  • 500 gr mushrooms

  • 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

  • Zest the lemon. Combine in a deep bowl the zest with the thyme and olive oil.

  • Clean and slice the mushrooms. Place them separately in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with half of the olive oil mixture and season with salt and pepper.

  • Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and cover the mushrooms with Parmesan cheese. Bake again for 5 minutes.

  • Remove from the oven and drizzle with the remaining olive oil and lemon juice to taste.
