Blueberry and Coconut Smoothie

This smoothie is a super complete food. It contains antioxidants from blueberries, good fats from coconut and chia, and calcium from almond milk. You can enjoy it at breakfast or snack time.

  • Calories: 220 kcal.

  • Grams of fat: 12 gr. equivalent to 2 fat servings

  • Grams of protein: 4 gr. equivalent to half a protein serving

  • Grams of carbohydrate: 29 gr. equivalent to 2 carbohydrate servings

Note: nutritional information may vary according to the quantity and type of ingredients used, as well as the portion size

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ripe banana

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

Preparation:

  • Place all ingredients in a blender.

  • Blend until smooth texture is achieved.

  • The smoothie will be a bit thick; if you prefer it more liquid, add a bit more milk
