This recipe is delicious and simple to make. If you don't want to make it with tilapia, you can choose your preferred fish. It has light and fresh flavors that pair perfectly with mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, or garden rice.

This recipe is delicious and simple to make. If you don’t want to make it with tilapia, you can choose your preferred fish. It has light and fresh flavors that pair perfectly with mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, or garden rice.

  • Calories: 272 kcal.

  • Grams of fat: 10 gr. equivalent to 2 fat servings

  • Grams of carbohydrates: 1 gr.

  • Grams of protein: 46 gr. equivalent to 6 protein servings

Ingredients:

  • Butter-flavored cooking spray

  • 4 tilapia fillets (180 to 240 gr each)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Juice and zest of one lemon

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Spray a cast iron skillet (preferably) with cooking spray.

  • Clean the fish well, season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and zest.

  • Place the fish in the skillet. Place one teaspoon of butter on top of each fillet.

  • Bake for 8 to 12 minutes approximately (may be longer depending on the thickness of the fillet or the type of oven).
