Light Mint and Lemon Dressing

For those who love dressing their salads, here’s a light homemade alternative to avoid the extra calories that come with commercial dressings. Delicious!

Approximate Nutritional Content (2 tablespoons):

  • Calories: 35 kcal.

  • Grams of fat: 0 gr.

  • Grams of carbohydrates: 8 gr. equivalent to 1/2 bread serving

  • Grams of protein: 1 gr.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (can be Greek yogurt)

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon mint (dried or fresh)

  • pinch of salt

Preparation:

  • Very simple, all you need to do is mix all the ingredients well in a deep bowl.

  • This recipe yields approximately 6 tablespoons of dressing.
