This recipe is a perfect side dish for any protein at lunch or dinner. It’s very low in calories and simple to prepare.

  • Calories: 109 kcal

  • Grams of fat: 7 gr. equivalent to 1.5 fat servings

  • Grams of carbohydrate: 10 gr. equivalent to 1 vegetable serving

  • Grams of protein: 4 gr. equivalent to half a protein serving

Note: nutritional information may vary depending on the quantity and type of ingredients used, as well as the serving size.

Ingredients:

  • 680 gr. of Brussels sprouts

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  • Cut the stems or brown parts of the Brussels sprouts as well as any wilted leaves.

  • Mix in a deep dish the Brussels sprouts with the oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Place them on a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally so they roast evenly.

  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with a bit more salt if desired, serve.
