This recipe is a perfect side dish for any protein at lunch or dinner. It’s very low in calories and simple to prepare.

Grams of fat: 7 gr. equivalent to 1.5 fat servings
Grams of carbohydrate: 10 gr. equivalent to 1 vegetable serving
Grams of protein: 4 gr. equivalent to half a protein serving

680 gr. of Brussels sprouts
3 tablespoons of olive oil
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Cut the stems or brown parts of the Brussels sprouts as well as any wilted leaves.
Mix in a deep dish the Brussels sprouts with the oil, salt, and pepper.
Place them on a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally so they roast evenly.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with a bit more salt if desired, serve.
