This is an option that can be used by our vegetarian followers or those watching their figure. We can combine them with a good portion of salad. We can also enjoy them with some fruit sauce or wrapped in lettuce. Simply delicious!

Grams of fat: 2 gr. equals half a fat serving
Grams of carbohydrates: 16 gr. equals 1 grain serving
Grams of protein: 5 gr. equals half a protein serving

1 cup cooked quinoa
1/2 cup butternut squash puree (boil it beforehand and puree)
1 egg
1/2 cup regular oats
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon sage
a pinch of salt
Place all ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with cooking spray oil.
Form the quinoa mixture into 4 patties and place them directly in the skillet.
Let them cook for approximately 5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook for 4 more minutes.
Handle them carefully as they can break.
Serve.
