This dish can be enjoyed as a side to meat or eaten on its own. It’s refreshing and very simple to make.

Approximate Nutritional Content (per half recipe):

  • Calories: 245 kcal,

  • Grams of protein: 8 gr. equals 1 protein

  • Grams of fat: 6 gr. equals 1 fat

  • Grams of carbohydrates: 40 gr. equals 2.5 grains

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of chickpeas, well drained.

  • 1 box of cherry tomatoes (the small ones)

  • 25 basil leaves, finely chopped

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil

  • 1/2 tablespoon of honey

  • pinch of salt

Preparation:

  • Place all ingredients in a large deep bowl, stir and let rest for 20 minutes so the flavors settle.
