Chicken Parmesan is an Italian-style dish and this version is a “light” way to enjoy this exquisite recipe.

Approximate Nutritional Content (1 breast):

  • Calories: 265 kcal.

  • Grams of protein: 22gr. equivalent to 3 proteins.

  • Grams of carbohydrates: 12 gr. equivalent to 1 grain

  • Grams of fat: 15 gr. equivalent to 3 fats.

Note: nutritional content may vary according to the quantity and type of ingredients used.

Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless chicken breasts

  • 3/4 cup natural tomato sauce (already seasoned)

  • 60 gr shredded mozzarella cheese.

  • dry parsley

  • salt and pepper

Preparation Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  • Place chicken on plastic wrap (wrap it) and pound the chicken breasts with a meat mallet until they are very thin.

  • Heat a skillet with cooking spray.

  • Season the chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.

  • Place the chicken in the hot skillet, cook for approximately 3 minutes on each side.

  • Once the chicken is cooked, place on a baking sheet with aluminum foil, add tomato sauce, cheese and parsley to each breast (same amount for each).

  • Bake for 15 minutes and done!!

Side dishes: can be accompanied with 1/2 cup cooked pasta or rice, and sautéed vegetables. Enjoy!
