This recipe is an innovative way to use tuna—super light and versatile, you can enjoy it on its own or as a burger patty.

Protein grams: 16 gr equivalent to 2 protein servings
Fat grams: 1 gr
Carbohydrate grams: 13 gr equivalent to 1 grain serving
1 can of tuna in water (light)
1 egg
30 gr of rolled oats
1/4 cup of celery, finely chopped
1/4 cup of onion, finely diced
pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
Place all ingredients in a large, deep bowl. Mix well.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Spray with cooking spray.
Form two patties of equal size using the tuna mixture. Place in the skillet.
Cook for 3-4 minutes, carefully flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve (either accompanied by rice or as a sandwich).
