For those unfamiliar with it, couscous is a type of pasta that cooks exactly like any other type and can be found in supermarkets nationwide. This recipe is simple to make, different, and delicious.
Calories: 385 kcal
Grams of fat: 3 gr. equals 1/2 fat serving
Grams of carbohydrates: 54 gr. equals 3.5 starches
Grams of protein: 35 gr. equals 5 proteins
Note: the recipe can be varied by using smaller amounts of ingredients, the nutritional content will vary according to the quantity and type of ingredients used.
4 boneless chicken breasts
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup couscous
Cut the chicken into cubes.
Brown the chicken in a medium pot with cooking spray oil.
Add to the chicken the orange juice, soy sauce, and ginger.
Bring to a boil and then add the couscous, cover and let all the liquid evaporate.
Once dry, remove from heat and wait 5 minutes before eating.
Note: can be served with vegetables or salad.
