This recipe is an excellent option for people watching their cholesterol, as it is a sandwich that uses only egg whites, therefore reducing fat content and increasing protein content.
Calories: 120 kcal.
Grams of fat: 2 gr.
Grams of protein: 13 gr. which equals 2 proteins
Grams of carbohydrates: 16 gr. which equals 1 grain

1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 bell pepper, sliced into strips
1 slice of turkey ham, diced
2 egg whites
Salt and pepper to taste
1 portion of Bimbo thins bread (white or whole wheat)
Heat a skillet with cooking spray and add the onion.
Cut the bell pepper into cubes and add along with the ham to the skillet with the onion.
Cook until the onion, bell pepper, and ham are slightly golden.
Add the beaten egg whites to the skillet and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
Let the egg cook, then fold it in half and let cook for 1-2 minutes.
Flip the egg and cook for one minute on that side, then serve on the bread.
Variations: if desired, you can add other vegetables to the egg and you can use mustard on the bread.
