Smoothies are an excellent way to get nutrients. This one, for example, is a good source of iron, vitamin C and A, potassium, protein, and more. They can be used at breakfast time or for a snack, even after exercising.
Smoothies are an excellent way to get nutrients. This one, for example, is a good source of iron, vitamin C and A, potassium, protein, and more. They can be used at breakfast time or for a snack, even after exercising.
Calories: 240 kcal.
Grams of protein: 20 gr. equivalent to 3 servings of protein
Grams of fat: 1 gr.
Grams of carbohydrates: 42 gr. equivalent to 3 servings of carbs.
Note: nutritional information may vary depending on the quantity and type of ingredients used.
1/2 mango
1/2 banana
2 cups spinach
1/2 cup orange juice
1 scoop protein powder
ice cubes (approximately 5)
Put all ingredients, except ice, into the blender and blend.
Add the ice, and blend again until everything is well mixed.
Note: the idea of adding the ice after blending everything is that it gives the smoothie greater thickness.
