Tilapia in creamy mustard sauce

This delicious recipe is low in calories and perfect for a family lunch. Let’s make it to add variety to your everyday meals.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tilapia fillets

  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme, finely chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup fat-free chicken broth

  • 30 gr. portobello mushrooms, finely chopped

  • 2 tablespoons sweet cream

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • Cooking spray oil

Preparation Steps:

  • Season the fish with thyme, pepper, and salt.

  • Heat a large skillet with cooking spray over medium-high heat.

  • Place the fish in the skillet and cook 1 minute on each side.

  • Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.

  • Reduce heat, cover the skillet, and let reduce for 5 minutes.

  • Uncover, add the mushrooms, and cook for one minute or until tender. Remove from heat and from the skillet.

  • For the sauce: Place the sweet cream and mustard in the skillet, stir until well combined, cook for one minute or until hot. Serve over the fish.
